CROP WALK

Our goal of 100 walkers was exceeded, and with over $5,900 raised (plus the $1,600 match from Thrivent), we are over the $100,000 goal of total funds raised over the 25 years that Pastor Paul has been walking the Crop Walk!!!

Thanks to all who walked, all who supported walkers, and all who volunteered their time.

Message from the Pastor

King of Kings continues to grow into the missional congregation God is calling us to be. Following our mission trips in 2010, we are already planning three trips in 2011.

Our adults will return to Mustard Seed Ministry in Goshen, New York.

Our Senior Youth Group returned from Philadelphia after spending a week at a number of different mission sites as they collaborated with the Center for Student Missions.

The Youth Mission Trip to Steubenville, Ohio, will take place July 31st to August 6th, 2011. The last date to sign up with deposit is Sunday, March 6th. The next informational meeting is Sunday, February 27th at 9:30 a.m. in the youth room. This event is open to all youth who have completed their freshman year in high school.

We continue to support a number of benevolent projects with our tithes and offerings as well as sharing household items and giving of our time. During the summer of 2010 we welcomed two more families through our active support of the Center for New Americans. Matthew 25 Farm in Tully drew a few carloads of people ranging in age from six to adult, and several hundred pounds of food was picked and distributed to the food pantry we support in Syracuse.

These are exciting times at King of Kings. Come and join us as we worship and praise God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
